FYF is a personal finance education and tracking tool. It helps you log income and spending, understand your financial position, set goals, and build better financial habits through lessons and coaching insights.

FYF is not a financial advisor, investment advisor, or licensed financial planner. Nothing on FYF — including coach insights, projections, lessons, or story chapters — is financial advice. The information FYF provides is educational and informational. It reflects your own data back to you in a structured way.

You are responsible for all financial decisions you make. FYF does not recommend specific investments, credit products, or financial strategies. Before making significant financial decisions, consider consulting a licensed professional.

You must be at least 13 years old to use FYF. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. FYF will never ask for your password by email, phone, or any other channel.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@fyf.services.

One account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.

You agree to use FYF only for its intended purpose — personal financial education and tracking — and only in ways that comply with applicable laws.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from FYF by automated means
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit FYF's systems
• Use FYF to store or transmit malicious code
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
• Use FYF for any commercial purpose without our written permission
• Abuse the free tier to circumvent intended limitations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

The financial data you enter into FYF belongs to you. We use it only to operate the service for your benefit. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to build profiles for third parties. Our full data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent.

FYF's coaching insights are algorithmically generated based on the data you enter. They are designed to be helpful, context-aware, and non-judgmental. They are not financial advice.

Financial projections, pace estimates, and monthly summaries shown in FYF are estimates based on your logged data. Actual outcomes depend on many factors outside FYF's knowledge. Do not make significant financial decisions based solely on FYF projections.

We aim to keep FYF reliable, but we make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or error-free operation. FYF may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of FYF at any time. If we make material changes that affect existing users, we will provide reasonable notice.

FYF is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FYF and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of FYF — including financial losses resulting from decisions made in reliance on FYF content.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of FYF will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or CAD $10 if you have paid nothing).

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain warranties or liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You can close your account at any time in your account settings. All your data will be permanently deleted.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we are required to do so by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before doing so unless prohibited by law or immediate safety concerns require otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the effective date above. Continued use of FYF after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Manitoba, Canada.
